Gel nails FAQs
No, as long as the gel is removed properly by being soaked off and NOT peeled or picked off.
No, they do not need to breathe. Using a nail oil will help nourish the new nail growth.
There could be many reasons. The main reasons may include diet, medication and trauma/injury. It can just unfortunately be due to getting older!
Nail oil should be applied daily, preferably at night as this will let the oil work to its full potential whilst your hands are inactive and not getting wet.
Nail extensions FAQs
GelX extensions are a mixture of gel and press ons, in the form of a full tip. They are applied over the entire nail bed (not just the tip) using and ‘all in one’ gel and LED light.
GelX extensions are made from the same gel that’s in gel polish. This means they are a lot thinner than other extensions giving them a more natural finish and therefore are very easy to remove.
– Like all nail enhancements, if they are not removed properly you will run the risk of damaging your own nails. Similar to a regular gel manicure, they will need to be soaked off.
– Unlike acrylic nails, gelX does not include the harsh chemicals meaning they are much healthier for your nails.
