While the world outside will be confusing for some time to come, we want to give you that essential you breathing space to relax and enjoy your chill time – everything that is the essence of the RJ’s experience.
To do this we have been changing things to make sure that your visit has all of the essence of a RJ’s treatment that you all love and enfolded this into a place that feels safe for the post lockdown world.
We want everyone who we welcome to the salon to feel that they are arriving at a safe haven where everyone is supporting each other.
So this is our RJ’s Community Pledge for us all – our customers, our staff and our working practices.
What We Are Pledging
Physical Distancing:
That the salon will be laid out and staff will work to physical distancing guidelines, staff will be using PPE equipment and each work station will be cleansed after each visitor.
To be able to do this, we will have less staff and clients in the salon and each stylist will only be working with one client. The number of appointments available per day will be reduced as a result.
To accommodate this we will be open 7 days a week including several evenings. This is a change for all of us and for you as many of you are adjusting our new working routines. It means that there are far more opportunities to make a booking across the whole week and day. View our new opening times
What We Ask You To Do
To respect the booking you have made – and attend unless there is good reason not to. If you need to cancel let us know as early as possible.
No-shows will make it very hard for us to operate as each appointment will now take up to 3 hours of a stylist time so a cancelled booking has a big impact. In the case of a no show appointment, where no notice is given our usual salon policy still applies and therefore will be charged.
We want you to feel that you can cancel if you are not feeling well enough to come, so there is no cancellation fee, but to do this we need you to let us know as early as possible so we can let someone else have that slot.
We appreciate that these are tough financial times for us so we are not increasing our prices and are absorbing the costs of PPE equipment and a significant reduction in the number of appointments we can take. To do this and survive we need you to help, by keeping your booking, cancelling in time for us to re-book it.
